So this company is a definite NO and the car still has a messed up transmission. We had to convince him to call off the police before we drove it back. We were concerned about driving to drop the car off out of fear of getting arrested. He then didn't see an issue with going straight to the cops. I even told him which mechanic was doing the inspection. I had left my car in the lot and we had a conversation about how I was having my mechanic inspect it. While this was being checked out, the sales person, who hadn't even taken my phone number when I took the car, called the police and reported the car stolen. AWD Subaru are not inexpensive to fix when they have front end damage. Also there were issues with the repair and it wasn't in that good a shape. I took the car to my mechanic to have it checked out and found out the entire front end had been replaced or was damaged which would have absolutely caused it to be a salvage title. Their business model is around rebuilding cars so that was odd to me and why I specifically asked the question. handling and construction equipment for varying applications and budgets. I was told the Subaru I was looking at had some damage but nothing significant and therefor didn't have a salvage title. An authorized Hyster & Yale forklift dealer, offering full service materials.
